In February 2020, Prose will move its office of 47 employees from SoHo to the Williamsburg waterfront and take over 12,000 square feet across the entire 8th and 9th floors.

“Prose is exactly the type of tenant we had in mind for this special building and this lease is another clear signal that Brooklyn is thriving as a live-work borough,” said Jed Walentas, Principal of Two Trees Management. “We expect more companies -- especially those migrating from Manhattan -- that value top-line space, jaw-dropping views and a mixed-use community for its employees, to continue to take space along the Williamsburg waterfront.”

“Our new office space at Ten Grand Street reflects our incredible talent at its core - creative and one-of-a-kind - and will further accelerate our business as a leading custom beauty brand,” said Arnaud Plas, Co-Founder & CEO of Prose. “We couldn’t be more excited to move to Domino in Williamsburg and have access to premier amenities in Ten Grand Street, and Domino Park just steps from the building.”

Launched online in 2017, Prose is a direct-to-consumer beauty brand focused on powering truly personal care to create 100% customized hair care products that address the specific needs and goals of each individual’s hair and scalp. By marrying a technology-driven approach with an apothecary-style concept, Prose products are made-to-order and provide the highest quality of clean and natural ingredients. Today, Prose is the most personalized beauty brand in the market. All Prose products are designed in Paris and bottled in New York City.

Completed in fall 2019 with a marketing launch on November 1, Ten Grand Street is the first commercial building at the award-winning Domino Sugar Factory site, featuring 5,000 to 6,000-square-foot floor plates with stunning 360-degree views of the Manhattan and Brooklyn skylines. Bordering Domino Park on the corner of Kent Avenue and Grand Street, Ten Grand Street interlocks with One South First, Two Trees’ second residential property on the Domino site which opened in September 2019. Designed by COOKFOX Architects, the building’s facade invokes the structure of sugar crystals, paying homage to the site's long history as a sugar manufacturing plant.

Ten Grand Street offers commercial tenants a range of premier amenities including a 45-seat theater, several lounges and conference rooms, rooftop cabanas, state-of-the-art fitness facilities, and a large bike lobby. Ten Grand Street and One South First will feature several Brooklyn-based retailers including Roberta’s, Other Half Brewing Co., Oddfellows Ice Cream and Two Hands Café.

Dan Conlon, Morghan Pangraze, and Elizabeth Bueno represented Two Trees in-house, and Marcus Rayner and Sam Einhorn at Colliers International represented Prose.
